 Re: Coolio's car crash
God Rock thats got to be a parents worst nightmare!! How you doing?? Coolio, quit doing that stupid stuff to your Dad!! I am glad you are OK. Did you learn anything???? If so tell me what!! I aint scared of dying i just dont want my gravestone to say Ibpilot, boy that was stupid!!! I almost killed myself in a motorcycle wreck in 1979, i was 26. As it is i have a bum right leg and have endured over 30 years of pain and suffering because i was young and stupid and not paying attention to what i was doing!! If you learned from this maybe it was worth it!! Tell me you learned something!! Please!!

 Re: Coolio's car crash
I think the learning will come from having an oppertunity to view the car once he's recovered enough to go out there with Rock. He'll get to see just how close to a disaster it really was. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a long time before his parents let him behind the wheel of a car again, let alone what the police and courts do about it. Of course I think the worst part will be having to listen to Funky tell him what a dumb arse he is for the rest of his life. Isn't that what brothers are for... But the family is really happy that no one was seriously injured.

 Re: Coolio's car crash
oh yeah, i was able to see the car on the way back from the hostpital actualy. and it was a mess.. The sgt who was working with us said another 2 inches, and all 3 of us would have been DOA.
and oh this has shook funk up just as much as me. him, rock, and our mom have been arguing about dangerous behavior happening to anyone. couple days after and he was visiting me in a hostpital bed
still dont remember anything passed lunch that day, and they say it may never come back. but anyway, thanks for the support guys.

 Re: Coolio's car crash
They do any blood work? Or is the memory loss just from the trauma...mine was a diabetic blackout, although I believe it was only 5-10 minutes from where I recall last seeing highway signs to where I hit the grassy medium...the driver next to me that I tapped says I appeared consciencous...
Course she also tried to sue me for 30k...

 Re: Coolio's car crash
I think he has learned from this experience. He didn't want to look at the car but my wife made him. It's all part of the process. Seeing it makes it real and not just something that happened in a dream.
The court process is the next step. He got two tickets and will have to deal with whatever the Judge hands down. Again....part of the process. But Jacob knows that we are here for him and that we will be with him throughout the whole thing. Accidents happen. I just wish we knew exactly what caused it. Nobody can seem to remember. Jacob hit his head pretty darn hard and that's what is causing his memory loss. Same with the others I guess.
I just wanted to say thanks for all the well wishes and concern. You are a great bunch of guys. I appreciate all the kind words.
