Post Battlefield 1
Hey Guys,

Don't know if you've seen the trailer yet for the new WWI BF game, but it looks pretty promising. It looks like they are stripping the game back from all of the electronic and enhanced equipment in the more modern combat games that we ended up despising. It is a BF game so it will probably be rather fast paced, but I think it looks pretty fun and I would like to see eXo get back involved in a game.

Also, some good news. They have confirmed that there will be a server browser in the game which means there is a good chance that there will be dedicated servers!

This second link is a behind the scenes discussion from a reviewer that has played it already.

I'll keep you posted on what else I hear about it.

Gee, does that mean we all considering dragging our sorry butts outta retirement. ;)

Miss you all!!! Miss the gaming!!!

I like the look of this, back to simple weapons and skills, with no futuristic crap.

Hope everyone is doing well...

I've been playing the bata version of BF1. It has the identical feel as the previous 2 BF's. Decent graphic and large maps. Weapons are period correct but too acctrate. I was using a Type 100 automatic and as easily able to kill at 75-100 yds. Since Dr Skaets and Pilot actually fought in WWI they could attest to the inaccuracy of this weapon. :-)

To me, it appears the developers simply overwrote BF4 with different maps and weapons. It just don't have the COD feel. I will pass on purchaing this game. YMMV

The type 100 was good for the best shooters like me and Doc Skaets out to about 150 yds. But that was just an expert few who could do that. I am not surprised that Soylent had trouble past 100 yds. young whippersnapper. I watched the video and the price is steep. 60 bucks for the cheap version, up to 150 bucks for the ultimate version. Holy dollar signs batman

I have been playing BF1 and very much like the gameplay, story modes, Operation mode, weapons, and progression.

I actually bought it for XBOX One S and purchased a XIM4 to use mouse and keyboard with. FYI, works VERY well!

My gamertag is PurpleZwolfe...

Hey Guys,

I love the work they've done with this title, it looks great, sounds great and is highly immersive, however;

If you are looking for a place to play as a team and enjoy sneaking captures through clever smoke deployment and tactics; this is not for you.

You will find yourself running with the rambos using and automatic bolt action whilst nadespamming from the back of a bullet proof horse.

Drunk fun, yes. What we used to know and love about games, a definite NO.
