I'm not an expert, but post more info please. Brand of router, operating system, etc.

Hello PointZero,

Not sure if I would be any help for you, but here a couple idea that might work for you, first off what brand of router are you using if it is a Linksys have you tried resetting the router back to it original settings, on the back of the router. there should be a reset button use a pen to push in the red button, if that does not work you could read this even though it is for COD 2 MW it should do the same for any other game...

Hopefully, it will help you out.I am not a big fan of wireless routers.I use to have one but had nothing but trouble with them when playing any multiplayer games online so now I stay with hard wire routers...

Sometimes it could be your software firewall (Windows, Norton etc). I had trouble hosting even with the applicable gaming ports open but when I turned off my antivirus program's firewall, it worked fine. MW3 shows my NAT set to strict too.

That is true there are antivirus programs out there that can cause issues to play with game online play.

I am using Microsoft Essentials and I have had no issues with it,the only issue I did have was like the one your having,So I had to enable UPnP in my router which is a Linksys plus update any firmware for it and once I did that everything has been working fine so far..

Hopefully your getting your router issue solved let us know.

Thanks
DarthVader
